Planned Parenthood of the St. Louis Region and Southwest Missouri

Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide, protect, and support reproductive and sexual health, services, access and rights.

Planned Parenthood of the St. Louis Region and Southwest Missouri (PPSLRSWMO) is a leading provider of high-quality, affordable sexual and reproductive health care services and education. PPSLRSWMO serves everyone with nonjudgmental care and open, fact-based communication, regardless of sexual orientation, economic and social status, or the services they seek.

PPSLRSWMO is headquartered in St. Louis and operates six health centers in the St. Louis region and three in southwest Missouri. PPSLRSWMO offers a full range of sexual and reproductive health services, including pregnancy tests; birth control; vasectomy; cancer screening; STI/HIV testing; gender affirming hormone therapy; and advanced gynecological services. PPSLRSWMO positively impacts community health outcomes through the provision of medical and education services.

Teen Advocates for Sexual Health (TASH) is an accessible and inclusive space, particularly for marginalized groups and communities. With support from the Dana Brown Charitable Trust, we have expanded our education footprint and increased accessibility to the TASH program. To help remove a barrier for students to access TASH meetings, the education department has provided students an increase in their transportation stipend. That increase has resulted in a subsequent increase in attendance.
