Advocating for abused and neglected children and youth in St. Louis by representing their best interest in court and in the community.

Mission Statement

Voices for Children requested funding to support our Healing and Prevention for Children in Foster Care programs that will aid the 960 abused and neglected children in a single year. The grant received from The Dana Brown Charitable Trust helped their dedicated staff and Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteers provide critical advocacy services for these child victims. Most of the children Voices for Children serves come from families struggling with poverty, and neighborhoods with high crime and violence, and all have endured maltreatment at the hands of those who should be protecting them. Voices for Children’s advocates work directly with children, families, the courts, child welfare system, therapists, healthcare providers, and schools to ensure their children’s basic needs are met and they receive the support they need to heal and reach their full potential.

Impact
