St Louis Nonprofits

St Louis Nonprofits are part of what makes St. Louis a city with a rich history and bright future. Most of Dana Brown’s lifetime philanthropic efforts were centered in his beloved St. Louis. Therefore, we proudly award grants to St. Louis nonprofits, almost exclusively. Together, St. Louis’ nonprofit community and The Dana Brown Charitable Trust are creating a positive and tangible impact on the people and places around us.

What type of organization makes St. Louis a better place for its residents? The Dana Brown Charitable Trust believes that as long as you are a St. Louis nonprofit focused on animal welfare or the health, education, and welfare of disadvantaged children, you are making a positive contribution.

For 24 years, The Dana Brown Charitable Trust has awarded grants to St. Louis nonprofits. Our mission has allowed us to partner with organizations like The St. Louis Zoo and Children’s Hospital to Little Bit and Champs Dogs.

We don’t necessarily select the grant for St. Louis nonprofits we award based off of organization size or tenure, but rather the direct and measurable positive impact that your organization’s vision can have on our St. Louis community.

You don’t limit your vision, so why would we limit ours? The arts, science, education, leadership, counseling, health care, environmental protection; you name it. When direct and meaningful positive change is a possibility for St. Louis, we’re interested in hearing more about what you’re interested in.
